Reliable Tax Claims operates a “No Refund – No Fee” policy.Reliable Tax Claims will act as a third party in the process of claiming your flat rate expenses.Payment for processing the application is deducted from the refund obtained. Our fee is £10.00 for refunds under £100.00 and subject to a maximum of 20% for refunds over £100.00.All refunds will be paid into the bank account under the control of Reliable Tax Claims, if the account is settled directly in error by HMRC, Reliable Tax Claims will invoice the client within 7 days of being notified.Any query relating to the claim by HMRC after the application has been submitted will be the sole responsibility of the claimant and not Reliable Tax Claims, however Reliable Tax Claims will endeavour to help where possible.All applications will take approximately 6-8 weeks to process. The applicant is made aware of this at the outset of the application.Reliable Tax Claims is not responsible for the refund of tax where:the customer has provided information which is false, inaccurate, incorrect, insufficient or misleading in any way;
the customer has already received a refund;
the customer has already applied for a refund, either directly or through another person, natural or legal;
the customer owes money to the tax authority;
the tax authority has different information on its system than that provided by the customer;
the tax authority information leads to a decision that the customer is not due a refund. Where there is a possible case for appeal within the law, such measures will be the responsibility of the customer, however Reliable Tax Claims will provide a refund of fees charged per claim up to the extent of the loss
HMRC will inform the applicant directly if above event arises.On submission of your flat rate expense claim we will, as a matter of course, collect on your behalf any tax you may have overpaid in the previous four years. Our normal fees apply to this rebate.In the event that the applicant is already in receipt of the Flat Rate Expenses, Reliable Tax Claims will contact the client to explain this. (email will be the preferred method of contact).Reliable Tax Claims will endeavour to keep the applicant informed at every stage of the application, again via email if a valid email address is provided.Reliable Tax Claims will deem that upon the receipt of the returned application for processing that the client accepts all terms and conditions.
